SNPtrio Code

The SNPtrio program has been designed to be a web based tool running on a Linux server, with certain libraries. The implementation itself contains over 70 files, including C, R, and Perl programming languages; HTML scripts; PNG, JPG and EPS images; and text files of sample data as well as chromosome sizes and centromere positions of recent NCBI builds. Because of the image manipulation needs, several publicly available libraries (PerlMagick/ImageMagick, GD, libgd, libpng. liblcms, Freetype2, libmng, libz) need to be preinstalled for SNPtrio to work. These libraries typically are installed by a Linux system administrator who can work out their interdependencies. We strongly recommend that users access SNPtrio through the website.

If you want to install SNPtrio locally please contact Jonathan Pevsner (email). The files are available upon request.
